NSSI Special Colloquium

On Friday, April 23th, 2010 there will be a special colloquium on "Perspectives of Research on Human-Environment Systems".
For more information please download the programme (» PDF, 152 kB).
Due to a limited number of seats registration is mandatory.
NSSI has worked successfully on the interfaces of human and environment
systems (HES), research and practice (transdisciplinarity) and natural
and social sciences. Meanwhile the research fields at these interfaces
matured and eight NSSI alumni became professors at universities in
different countries.
This NSSI colloquium is a chance for looking back and forth: All eight NSSI alumni will give insights in key aspects of human-environment systems research and will show how they advanced the field in the last few years. Further, the colloquium provides room and opportunity to delineate future research perspectives.

The Chair of Environmental Sciences – Natural and Social Science Interface (NSSI) is headed by Prof. Dr. Roland W. Scholz.
NSSI is part of the Institute for Environmental Decisions (IED) and was founded in 1993 under two missions:
For this purpose our work and research units are genuinely inter- and transdisciplinary.
